I have been using Smartshooter successfully with Canon cameras. I am currently using a Nikon D850 and the Live view is not changing when I change camera settings as it did previously. The Live View is much darker (it is at 100% brightness). I could boost the live view brightness to match exposure used, however this would still be inaccurate when changing the exposure. Can anyone help please? Is there a camera setting I haven’t found yet that may control this? Or a setting in Smartshooter.
Thanks.
I found it not long after this, just some further playing.
I’ll leave this here just in case someone else has the issue, as it took me a while to figure out and isn’t obvious. (Camera setting not Smartshooter, as I noticed the live view on camera wasn’t changing either)
Activate live view on the camera (while not tethered), and while in live view press “ok”. On camera live view now he LV exposure is controlled. When I connected back to Smartshooter, it worked. The Live View exposure now changes when I change exposure in Smartshooter.
